About
I believe therapy works because of the relationship between the therapist and the patient. When there is an environment of mutual trust, you, as the patient, can feel free to talk about things that you may not have not been able to talk about before. When that begins to happen, there is an immediate sense of relief. As therapy continues and you start to feel less anxious and depressed, you can begin to make positive changes in your life.
As a therapist I help my patients make connections between their past experiences and their feelings and experiences today. As we start to make these connections, patients learn more about themselves than they ever expected. People learn what their strengths are, as well as things they may want to change.
I work to create a warm environment so that people feel comfortable and relaxed. I love my work, and I love helping people reach their best selves!
