Trauma, anxiety and substance use disorder often fuel each other. I'm experienced in and passionate about treating all three conditions. Whether you're in active recovery, still using substances and trying to stop, or simply wondering whether your problems are related to your alcohol or drug use, I can help. Depending on your comfort level, we can focus on current behaviors, childhood wounds that may fuel addiction, or both. I also welcome the loved ones of alcoholics and addicts to my practice.

Therapy should be a partnership. I'll hear your story, offer ideas for how to get you out of your rut, and explain therapeutic strategies I use. Then you'll decide what direction you want therapy to take. I offer 12-step-based therapy, harm reduction, trauma therapy, and psychoanalytic talk therapy. I believe humor and patience are key to healing.
