I view therapy as an interpersonal laboratory, a way of working with thoughts, emotions and relationships. I welcome clients who seek the support and safety of a client centered environment who may be experiencing a huge life event/change or trauma and are seeking a more meaningful, authentic and valued life.
With 27 years of experience, I offer evidenced based strategies to clients who struggle with a variety of mental, physical and life span development issues. I am a skilled clinician in the treatment of depression, life transitions, anxiety, trauma, substance and process addictions, grief and personality disturbances that interfere with relationships, work and social experiences.
I have client centered ideals and promote CBT, DBT, Seeking Safety and Solutions Focused strategies to promote growth, healing and inner wisdom. I start with Motivational Interviewing to build a therapeutic alliance in a non judgmental, safe environment. I offer flexible appointment scheduling for those who have commitments during normal working hours.
