Warm greetings to you! I have over 20 years experience of trauma-informed care working primarily with adolescents, women, survivors of sexual and domestic violence, and LGBTQIA+ individuals (including support and references for gender affirming care). I enjoy connecting with people, listening to the stories they carry about themselves, and how these stories and experiences impact mental, emotional, and behavioral patterns. I’m also very interested in exploring the ways in which trauma and emotions are stored in the body and how we can work together through healing nervous system responses in order to move more flexibly through life.
I’m passionate about providing support for neurodivergent individuals as they navigate neurotypical and ableist spaces. I value the interaction between individuals and their environments, and recognize that both influence a person's behavior and well-being. I believe it is vital to address the material realities of oppression and privilege on mental health.
