I feel privileged when a distressed individual or couple allows me to accompany and guide them through their healing journeys. My clients include adults and adolescents who are dealing with issues such as anticipatory or post-death grief, difficulty adjusting to life transitions (including but not limited to adolescence, launching of children, empty nest, job loss), depression, stress or anxiety, traumatic stress, couple problems, divorce, blended family adjustment, and adult survival from childhood sexual abuse.
My specialty is primarily talk therapy (telehealth) in which I use my training and experience in healthy communication and relationships to guide clients toward more fulfilling lives. To do this, I listen carefully to to identify clients' concerns, strengths, and wishes and provide them with tools intended to address their concerns and improve their lives.
My training in individual/couple/family psychotherapy and music therapy has given me a combination of skills that is rare in the therapeutic community. My hope is that these skills and my clinical work in a variety of settings will help me provide clients with the therapeutic experience they need to improve their daily lives.
