Parenting Support for Parents of Middle Schoolers
The middle school years can be especially challenging as youngsters assert their independence. As the pressures of school and friends combine with the confusing physical changes of this time, parents often wonder what has happened to their children. Support from other parents is most essential at this time as children's lives expand and we feel we are losing control of their world. This group will give parents the opportunity to share with parents who are experiencing similiar feelings and to learn skills to help their preteens develop resilience and self-esteem during these challenging years.
