I work with adults who have a history of complex relational trauma from emotional neglect, complex family dynamics, or oppressive religious structures. They may have chronic anxiety, deep self judgement, or a sense of emptiness and longing. Many anxiously intellectualize their emotions or experience emotions so strongly that they feel overwhelmed. I practice an integrative method, bringing in psychodynamic theory, parts work and depth psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and CBT techniques. I actively practice inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and accessibility. I believe learning what has made you "you" is important to becoming who you are meant to be.
