It is a passion of mine to help you learn that you are important and worth listening to. I am certified in EMDR and have training in Ego State Therapy (a form of parts work). For couples, I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy to help partners repair disconnection and build a secure bond.
You experience anxiety, depression, numbness, intrusive memories and nightmares. You may feel shame, embarrassment and frustration about how you respond to stressful situations even though you have done great work in therapy before and have the skills. We will develop a treatment plan that respects your pace as we work together.
I am a good listener and will respect you during our work together as we are partners in this process. I will help you understand how trauma affects your nervous system and your daily life. I continue to learn new information by engaging in training and networking with other professionals in my field.
