I'm Susan Faitos and I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) working with clients in California via telehealth. My primary focus is working with individuals seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, grief, women's issues, and chronic illness/pain challenges. I am also experienced in working with relationship/family issues and I am sex-positive, sexual orientation, and kink friendly. My style is well-suited for individual adults who are experiencing life transitions and/or challenges coping with their current situations.
I tailor my approach to each client based on their needs. I most frequently use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral and Narrative Therapies. I like to start by assessing needs and goals for therapy, making sure my clients have the tools they need to function healthily, and then charting our course and journey forward together.
Clients find me to be warm, caring, and approachable. My goal is for my clients to feel accepted and comfortable with me, knowing that I listen without judgment.
