About
Reaching out to a new therapist is a great first step. How will you know you have found the right person for you? I know how important the right fit is. I know you want to find a therapist who "gets you" and "understands your struggles." I have been where you are now. Counseling has helped me as well as so many people that I know and love. I wanted to find a way to help others who are experiencing difficult times in their lives. You can get help. It will get better. Together we can find ways to improve how you are feeling.
Effective counseling is not just a quick fix to feel better. It is a safe space for clients to explore themselves and gain insight into their life. I use a no-nonsense approach to therapy, helping clients find relief and improve their lives. If you have tried therapy before and didn't feel successful or are brand new to therapy, I can help you!
My experience in complex family issues, trauma, and disordered eating helps me guide clients who are struggling with many different issues. I want you to feel heard and understood. I lead our team of therapists in the Falls and serve on leadership of our 11 clinic system. If my openings don't work for you I can refer you to one of our other 30 therapists.
