I believe that every individual, couple, and family has a story that they can change by gaining insight into their situation and making different choices. I partner with my clients to help them explore the options and tools available to them. Having spent years in the corporate and nonprofit arenas before embarking on my second career as a counselor, I bring real-world knowledge to my sessions. I am genuine with my clients, and sessions with me are just as likely to include laughter as they are tears. I treat each client with respect while asking tough questions that lead to productive conversations.
My areas of focus include relationships (couples counseling, divorce, and family dynamics), life transitions and uncertainty, parenting, school and work challenges, and the anxiety and depression that often accompany these and other issues. I also draw on my work experience to be an excellent sounding board for career decisions.
