Helping children and teens is what I'm most passionate about. I am a licensed psychologist with a specialty in clinical child psychology. I feel so fortunate to have been helping children and their families since 1997. I specialize in psychological evaluations and therapy for school aged children and adolescents. My evaluations typically address: ADHD/ADD, Depression, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety Disorders, Behavior Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Some of the clients that I tend to work best with include gifted children, those with anxiety disorders, and children on the autism spectrum.
Psychological testing gives me a chance to figure out a child's strengths and weaknesses and then help their family to make some decisions about how to best help them. One way that I'm different from many psychologists: your child will spend 100% of their testing time with me. I don't use interns, students, or psychometrists.
While I do specialize in children and adolescents, all of my appointments are during the school day. I typically have clients check out of school during one of their electives, lunch, or recess. This is an excused absence. For more information about my practice, my website is www.susanblandino.com.
