Are you moody and unhappy when you wish you weren't? Do you sometimes feel stress and anxiety about not being more connected to others? Are you having relationship problems? Or, are you lonely? Do you feel that it is hard to be authentic and still succeed? Do you have a conflict between a background to which you feel attached and the person you want to become? Is it hard to integrate your diverse self into today's social communities? My multidisciplinary expertise can help you deeply understand yourself while getting your growth and changes up and running.
I work with all types of psychological problems. I am especially good with adolescents, young adults, and people making developmental shifts. I consider how changing culture or class backgrounds can underlie psychological problems. I also help people with artistic abilities manage the demands of professional living .
I integrate a special combination of my training in clinical psychology, medical psychology, relational psychoanalysis and anthropology into an active and involved mentoring relationship that brings intellectual rigor and the wisdom of life experience front and center into our work together.
