I work with individual, couples and groups who are in the midst of a life crisis, an enormous emotional struggle, who have experienced a traumatizing event in their lives or are grieving a loss. I have helped people access their own internal strength so they can start to feel solid ground under their feet again. Sometimes it is a process of changing something or coming to terms with a part of life that has been avoided or stuck in denial. Other times it is process of understanding more deeply and get more clarification in order to make a decision. Still others are working on re-building trust after being devastated by betrayal.
As a therapist, I offer support and a safe and confidential space in which you can get help with the crisis at hand. I offer skills that help you express, explore, and process feelings during or after a painful event in your life. I give you the space to move through to the other side so you can find strength and hope.
These life situations can feel impossible without help. I am confident in the skills that I offer people who ask for help. The experience of escorting someone through a difficult time in life, being present during a time when someone might feel hopeless and guiding them to feeling better and more confident in their own ability to move through tough times.

Group crisis and traumatic event intervention
I meet with sponsored groups who have experienced a traumatic event or are in a crisis either from external influences or internal dynamics. This is a temporary group that is designed to help its members process through an event or personnel dynamic that may have created a crisis or had an on-going, negative affect on the work environment. The sponsoring agency supplies the location for each group.
