With degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill (BA) and Duke University (PhD), I have 20 years of experience as a psychologist working with adults, college students, adolescents, and children. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, mood swings, obsessive-compulsive behavior, relationship problems, and/or ADHD/LD, I can help. I worked in two children's hospitals (Umstead and Dix) and the NCSU Counseling Center, so I am experienced with developmental issues from childhood through college. I provide therapy for individuals and couples, group therapy, psychological evaluations, ADHD/LD assessments, and Cogmed Working Memory Training for ADHD/LD and memory problems.
My goal is to help you improve the quality of your life. I offer 3 evening groups where you learn tools to transform your relationships in social, family, and work settings. I can also guide you through significant ADHD issues like medication, behavior management, and working memory training.
As your psychologist, I want to help you heal the part that is hurting, and rediscover the part of you that is well. Whether you come to me with workplace challenges, family concerns, relationship problems, or social/personal issues, I am your partner in the healing process.
