I counsel with clients who long for a renewed sense of peace, who are experiencing relational challenges, anxiety, grief, or difficult choices. I partner with my clients as they set and achieve goals of personal and relational vibrancy, and a restored sense of spiritual wholeness. The counseling relationship can be a source of healing; I journey with individuals and couples in a sensitive, empathetic, non-judgmental manner. I offer clarity with a caring and empowering approach to the counseling process. I use Emotion-Focused Therapy for both couples and individuals. I use mindfulness, guided imagery, and self-compassion to help clients establish a sense of calm; they can use this whenever anxiety threatens to overwhelm.
When you counsel with me, you will be accepted and heard. I will strive to model a safe relationship for you. My multi-cultural family helps me be open to diversity, inclusion, and equity.
