Hello, I'm Susan, and I'm so glad you're here. My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning I believe in partnering with you on your journey of healing. Together, we'll work to find healthy coping skills that can serve as tools in your tool belt to help you navigate life's challenges. I specialize in working with military personnel, individuals experiencing depression and anxiety, and those dealing with relationship and family issues. I have a passion for helping clients of all ages, from adults to children and teens, and I find immense joy in seeing my clients grow strong again.
I use a largely cognitive behavioral approach to counseling. In short we can retrain our brain and see the glass as half full not half empty changing the outcome in our life.
Also introducing Jojo a trained therapy dog. He is used only with select clients ages 8 and up. He can be one tool I use with interested clients that I feel may benefit from this service.
