Susan A Wesnoski's Groups
Partners/ Families of Substance Users
Small group facilitated by therapist to discuss stressful issues surrounding relationships with those who are addicted to substances. We will learn about addiction, work on techniques to reduce enabling behaviors, what it means to detach with love, and how to care for yourself. Contact Susan to register.
Pre-LCSW Supervision Group
This clinical supervision group meets to help LSWs with professional growth, skill building, and, of course, working towards hours for the LCSW! Collaborative learning is encouraged! I work from a humanistic, person-centered model, with an emphasis on CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, ICPS, and Motivational Interviewing as clinical techniques. Please contact me to see if it is a good fit for you.
Social Anxiety Disorder Process Group
Feeling Awkward? Like you never fit in? Has this affected being out in social settings, crowds, work? If so, take the risk and join us to learn ways to manage these thoughts, change how you view yourself, and start living!! We will explore fear in a safe, supportive setting to help you break through your protective symptoms.
