I am an experienced therapist offering counseling to individuals and couples. I enjoy supporting clients in all phases of life transitions as they embark on a journey of increased health and well-being. I am certified in EMDR, as well as a specialist in perinatal mental health. I am also trained in Brainspotting. Using these approaches, as well as talk therapy, can truly help clients process the root issues related to current stressors.

I hold licenses in both Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy, I provide individual, couple, family and group counseling for children and adults. I offer workshops and psycho educational classes for parenting, family core values, healthful eating and individual empowerment, all have been well received with positive outcomes. I use various evidenced based therapuetic modalities and I believe in a compassionate approach during the therapuetic process. I am also committed to helping each individal connect with their innate core value. I am a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist, and a Resident Supervisor.

For the most part, couples attend our center to understand themselves and their significant others and to creating meaningful changes, resulting in genuine connection with one another.

I work with adults and couples who are dealing with: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, family of origin issues and codependency. I have a master's degree in Counseling from West Virginia University and am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, I am a certified Clinical Supervisor and am open to supervising counseling residents as well as licensed professionals.

Juan O. Turón is a native of Azul, Argentina and resides in the United States since 1998. Mr. Turón has a Bachelors of Arts degree in General Psychology, a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Certificate of Participation in anthropology courses from the University of Cambridge International Summer School from 2005. Mr. Turón is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and approved Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor through the Virginia Board of Counseling. Mr. Turón is currently finishing his doctoral studies Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University.
