I work with individuals and families who are experiencing issues related to ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Loss, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and family conflict. I have experience working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma and domestic violence. I have had VA supervision training and am credentialed to do licensure supervision. I have 17+ years of experience in the field of Social Work, treating individuals with childhood trauma and abuse, grief and loss, combat trauma, sexual assault, and domestic violence. I am also a CSAT, and I treat individuals with sex and/or love addiction as well as sexual anorexia.

Accepting new clients ages 18+ I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist, offering individual counseling. My goal is to help clients grow and meet their full potential. I utilize a Person-Centered and Strengths-Based approach, that may be integrated with Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Guided Imagery, and Yoga. I recognize the power of the therapeutic relationship and will provide a safe, non-judgemental environment to explore thoughts, ideas and feelings. Mary Jouett Rodman, LCSW, graduated from Jane Addams College of Social Work at The University of Illinois at Chicago. Mary encompasses a holistic approach when identifying and treating the macro and micro needs of the community. Mary is focused on creating sustainable healing by incorporating strength-based systems of care. As a clinical social worker, her treatment approach includes motivational interviewing, integrating self-compassion principles, embodied practices, and a person-centered treatment approach.

Dr. Nicole L. Fischer is a Licensed Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia and Board Certified in Counseling Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. With 10+ years of experience working in university mental health and administration, she has demonstrated expertise in individual and group psychotherapy, clinical supervision, community outreach, and project management. She incorporates Psychodynamic, Interpersonal Process and Cognitive Behavioral theories to treat a variety of presenting concerns.

Dr. Joan E. Winter lectures on the subjects of marital therapy, family therapy, and incest. Her writings include extensive discourse on the practice and evaluation of family therapy. Additionally, Dr. Winter is on the Clinical faculty of the VCU Medical College of Virginia Department of Psychiatry where she supervises residents in family therapy. She also serves as a consultant to many organizations, both in the non-profit and private sectors. Her credentials include licenses in social work and Marriage and Family Therapy as well as Approved Supervisor Status for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Carolyn strives to being an effective blend of experiences, empowerment, education, encouragement, and support to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing and wholeness to individuals, marriages, couples, and families. Carolyn’s approach to counseling is centered on the therapeutic alliance. She incorporates CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Therapy Techniques with a variety of therapeutic orientations to help individuals/families/couples meet their goals. Carolyn is totally committed to the individuals that she serves and believes that there is great value and importance in human connections.

I am interested in providing clinical supervision to students, in-home counselors and clinical staff working in public or private agencies. I have many years of providing quality and helpful supervision that focuses on the clinician's and client's strengths. I enjoy imparting my knowledge and skills to assist clinicians in meeting the challenge of working with difficult clients, and overcoming barriers and gaining a better understanding of their client's motivation.
