I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M International University in 1999 and a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Texas State University in 2013. Since 1999, I have been working with many different populations and all ages in the mental health field, honing my skills as a clinician. It can be difficult to ask for support sometimes. I have been working with adolescents and parents in the school system for over 19 years as a school counselor, and have held my LPC license for over 14 years. I am an LPC supervisor. I enjoy working with adolescents, helping them to work through their issues, ranging from underachieving to relationship conflict (and everything in between). I also enjoy working with adults, helping them to understand their roles as parents so that they are better able to help support their children in a positive, healthy manner.
