I provide individual counseling to help people move through periods in their life that may cause them distress, and help them identify the tools to navigate the uncertainty or challenges they may be facing. I have been a practicing therapist and clinical supervisor for over 10 years and, through this experience, I have been privileged to work with a variety of individuals to help them navigate uncertain times. Through implementing empathy, rapport building, humor and goal setting I aim to help others feel that change is possible.

I have immediate openings for individual, family therapy, and couples counseling. I am an expert in attachment trauma and use this frame to address parenting challenges and fractured families. I am also an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of personality disorders. I work with my patients to understand what lead to their challenges and create a plan to address their unique needs. I use Mentalization Based Therapy techniques, in addition to other modalities for treatment. If you are experiencing an eating disorder, disordered eating, negative body image, or hardship supporting a loved one with an eating disorder, please contact me. I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in eating disorder treatment. I believe in treatment that works, is based in science, and has an end goal (i.e., evidence-based treatment). I work primarily with eating disorders; however also enjoy supporting individuals through interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I know how difficult change can be and offer a compassionate approach that values working toward your personal goals.

Trauma can be defined as our emotional and psychological response to a distressing event. It can be difficult to resolve traumatic memories when the event and emotional response validate a negative core belief we hold about ourselves. I am an EMDR trained therapist and I believe strongly in the efficacy of EMDR in resolving trauma and negative core beliefs. I also use existential philosophy to inform my practice, meaning I focus on self-awareness, relationships, personal power, free will, and self-determined choices.

My expertise is in holistic based therapy. This means I like to look at the whole picture; mind, body and spirit. I am trained in ACT, EMDR, NET, past life regression, meditation, guided imagery. I am a certified herbalist, and can assist in finding natural options for symptom reduction and optimal health. I provide clinical supervision for other mental health therapists. I am currently seeing clients and supervisees both virtually and in person.
