I have been working with children and their families for the past 10 years. I specialize in working with children with one or more mental health diagnoses, such as ASD, anxiety, depression, or mood disorders, as well as helping their parents/guardians or family members with how to best care for their child. I aim to work collaboratively with families, schools, and other providers in order to instill change. I work individually with adults, with a varying degree of need, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also work individually with parents, working on their own mental health.

I have had more than 25 years of experience treating children, adolescents and adults. I always try to meet the person where they are at, and try to give them the most support and treatment as I can working collaboratively together.

For the past 15 years I have worked with children, adolescents and adults with ASD, depression, anxiety and trauma. These individuals are often impacted by emotional dysregulation, which limits their potential and reduces their ability to participate and succeed in specific environments. My clients often internalize their perceived deficits and have identified themselves as being “less than” or “not good enough”. My work focuses on supporting abilities, recognizing strengths, honoring differences and valuing uniqueness while providing opportunities to observe their patterns of behavior that inhibit them from taking action.

I work with children, teens, and adults. Over nearly 30 years, I find the uniqueness of each person, and am authentic in my approach. I have helped clients overcome depression, understand and manage their anxiety, and work through significant trauma in their lives. Many people from Asia, Africa, and Europe have worked with me very successfully as they transition to the US. My work is finished when clients feel in better control of their moods, habits, and thoughts, they have sustaining purpose(s) in their daily life, and when they experience their social connections as fulfilling and satisfying. As a Child and Family Psychologist with over 40 years experience, I provide therapy as well as conduct Neuropsychological and Forensic Assessments.
