With my youngest clients, counseling is a collaborative process of shifting challenging habits & behaviors, or removing roadblocks impacting school adjustment and family harmony. I work in partnership with caregivers to take actionable steps, teaching skills & strategies to help children and adolescents thrive. With adult clients, we uncover patterns & behaviors causing pain, address trauma, shame, identity, or relationship issues; anything impacting optimal wellbeing.

With over 25 years of experience working with people of all ages as a trauma and grief therapist, I have helped individuals and families learn to cope with a wide range of issues including partner loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, complex trauma and sexual assault. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work. I work with people of all ages, sexuality, genders, and backgrounds. I particularly enjoy working with children; though I currently work with clients of all ages suffering from anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, those struggling with life transitions, and addictions. Hello, I'm Brian (preferred pronouns: he/him/his) and I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker working as a therapist in the Boston area for over seven years. I've worked with clients across the lifespan, and am especially passionate working with millennial's (ages 18-40) who struggle with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and ADHD. I also focus on clients dealing with eco anxiety, climate anxiety, and solastalgia. RVCC is a multi-service community-based mental health agency serving the Pioneer Valley since 1953. RVCC offers counseling and medication management at offices located in offices located in Holyoke, Chicopee, Easthampton, Springfield, and Westfield. I am passionate about the work that I do and realize that reaching out and asking for help can be one of the most challenging aspects of starting the therapy process.
