I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work. I work with people of all ages, sexuality, genders, and backgrounds. I particularly enjoy working with children; though I currently work with clients of all ages suffering from anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, those struggling with life transitions, and addictions. With all that's going on in the world today it's easy to become overwhelmed, and it can help to talk with someone outside of your circle.

The demands of school, work, family and social relationships can be overwhelming for people of all ages. Societal pressures may add to our stress. We all need support as we navigate the different stages of our lives. We can get stuck, feel very low, or become increasingly anxious along the way. Children and adolescents may express or cope with these difficult emotions with troubling behavior. Parents often feel helpless or lost trying to support their children. Individual and family psychotherapy can help us better understand and manage our emotions, increase our sense of worth and control, and live a more fulfilling life.

I provide a therapeutic space where clients can begin to look at relationships, beliefs, values and feelings in a safe, nonjudgmental setting. I approach the sessions with warmth and humor and my hope is that clients will feel comfortable and at ease.

My practice primarily treats children, adolescents, and adults through the modalities of individual,family therapy and parental guidance. I approach each client's issues, situations with care and compassion in order to create a non-judgemental space so they can develop their strengths and gain new insights into their symptoms and behaviors. I enjoy the process of building the therapeutic relationship as I believe that it is through relationships people can heal. Much of my experience is treating trauma; anxiety; mood disorders; and transitional issues such as divorce, adoption, loss, and relational issues.

Hello, I'm Brian (preferred pronouns: he/him/his) and I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker working as a therapist in the Boston area for over seven years. I've worked with clients across the lifespan, and am especially passionate working with millennial's (ages 18-40) who struggle with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and ADHD. I also focus on clients dealing with eco anxiety, climate anxiety, and solastalgia.
