I am often the first person to see a young child when emotional and behavioral difficulties emerge in pre-school or Kindergarten. I can help figure out what's going on diagnostically and we can develop a treatment plan together. I have successfully helped children and adults with ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders like Depression and Bipolar Disorder.

With over 25 years of experience working with people of all ages as a trauma and grief therapist, I have helped individuals and families learn to cope with a wide range of issues including partner loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, complex trauma and sexual assault. I provide parent guidance and coaching for caregivers who have children with challenging behaviors and special needs. I have expertise with foster, kinship and adoptive families. I offer therapy to tweens, teens and young adults who may need support with life transitions and relationships. My work with clients is always collaborative and strength-based.

I worked as a therapist & supervisor for a local community mental health agency for over 9 years, where I developed a specialty in working with adolescents & adults, particularly around anxiety, depression, relationships & boundary setting. My ability to form trusting & genuine relationships with my clients is one of my strengths, and my hope is that we can develop a relationship that feels comfortable & grounding. Offering Parenting Consultations ONLY (sorry, I am not taking on new, individual clients). For 15 years, I've specialized in working with kids and their families, but I rarely have openings and often have to turn away parents who need help. I know how frustrating it is for parents to find therapists with openings, and with this in mind, I now am offering a series of three consultation sessions for parents to gain further insight into the roots of what their child is experiencing, and how parents can help. While my consultations are not a replacement for therapy, parents have said our meetings are extremely helpful.
