I also come from a Christian perspective, although I am open to working with people from all backgrounds. I have been formerly trained in trauma-informed practices and I am a Certified WRAP Facilitator. I sincerely care about helping people overcome their tragedies and I whole-heartedly support recovery from trauma, addictions, and life experiences that could potentially provide setbacks. I have practiced as an Integrative Movement Psychotherapist for over 17 years and believe that true healing shines through when we work with the whole self-the body, the mind and spirit. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work with a small team of amazing Associate Clinical Social Workers. Our specialties include working with children, teens and families, helping people of all ages heal from trauma and deal with stress and providing services including psychological evaluations for immigration cases. We also love working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, people who have migrated and their families and folks who have overcome multiple layers of hardship.

As a licensed Clinical Psychologist, I have over 30 years of experience as a therapist, first responder to natural and human-made disasters, clinical supervisor, trainer/consultant, graduate level professor, and NIH-funded researcher. My areas of expertise include treatments for trauma/PTSD (Prolonged Exposure, Written Narrative Exposure, and Cognitive Processing Therapy), substance use disorders, and mood disorders.

As a therapist, Isabel is proactive, transparent, and honest. Currently, she is working towards certification in sex therapy and has completed her certification as a sex addiction therapist. She utilizes an integrative approach tailored to individual client’s needs. Her reflective therapeutic style emphasizes the unique strengths of individuals and their ability to create change. In Isabel’s career, she has experience working in inpatient, forensic, school based, and community outpatient settings. Isabel’s work also includes the supervision and training of MA and doctorate level clinicians. She is a CAMFT certified supervisor.

I offer psychotherapy to families, couples and individuals. People come to therapy for different reasons, whether it be a life changing event or just needing support. In the end, we all want supportive nurturing relationships with ourselves and others and I believe that therapy can help people work towards those goals.
