Janine Gordon is a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in psychotherapy, clinical supervision and program management. She has worked with children, teenagers and adults and is currently providing clinical supervision as well as directing a school-based program serving over 20 schools. Her passion is helping others to grow and heal along this journey in order to truly live their best life. Janine utilizes a variety of clinical modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mind-Body Techniques. She’s is Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has a certification in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy.

My specialty is building relationships and making clients feel safe in a space to share. I focus on 1:1 ,couples, families and groups. I am always looking to balance solution focused sessions with underlying clinical issues. Helping clients feel like they can get some relief early on in therapy is a priority. Anxiety, depression, addiction, family relation issues, life transitions and Covid are just some areas of work are that are my specialty. Whether you are comfortable free flow talking or need a more interview style, I am comfortable doing both. I also specialize in young adult and dual diagnosis.

I have many years of experience in the mental health field, as a psychotherapist and now as a clinical supervisor. I'm an expert in trauma and what I have learned in this beautiful field is that regardless of the trauma, or negative experience you have faced there is a way to transition away from the pain. Sometimes we need help getting to a place where joy is the order of the day and that is where I come in.
