I am passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, traumas that are single incident events such as car accidents, surgeries or that have occurred throughout ones childhood where they are experiencing physical or emotional symptoms now as a result. I love working with individuals who are looking on ways to feel supported to increase their own self worth in all areas of their life. My style is relational and collaborative and I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I can help support in creating change around what works best for you - I pride myself on meeting patients where they are comfortable.

I specialize in helping people through life transitions of all kinds- from work/career to family and personal. Change is a part of life, and it can be disruptive, unsettling, and challenging. It can also be an opportunity for creativity and evaluation of our lives. I help people assess where they are now, where they want to go, and how to get there. Trained as a high level violinist, I have a particular passion for helping musicians and athletes through transitions related to their sport or instrument- things like dealing with injuries, or making decisions about whether to pursue athletics or music at the next higher level.

Having worked in mental health and substance use for 8 years, treating these issues both independently and in a co-occurring modality, I know the first challenge is reaching out and asking for help. Depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and other issues affecting wellness and hope commonly leads to the ineffective use of substances. I am an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Lic#110007) and Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certified by CCAPP, specializing in the treatment of co-occurring disorders in youths, adults, couples, and families utilizing strength-based therapy.
