Changes take place through healing relationships. My job as your counselor is to listen and understand what you are going through. I offer to hold hope for you when times are dark or you feel lost or confused and to share in your progress too! I work from a person-centered approach and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Based Perspective to help you learn and grow and make the changes you want to make. Hello there…I'm Robyn Flores (she/her). I am a therapist, supervisor, professor, and collector of rescue plants, vintage typewriters, and lo-fi music. I understand that having to use compensatory strategies to navigate life as a neurodivergent individual can be exhausting. Through a well-crafted lens of epistemic humility, unconditional positive regard, and creativity, I support adults with concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal and sex-related struggles.

Dr. Scott is committed to facilitating the healing, recovery and integration of motivated, proactive clients who are interested in approaching their behavioral health from an eclectic and multi-disciplinary approach. He uses many traditional and non-traditional techniques that are described below. His commitment is to start where the client is and assist them in the process of self-discovery, mastery and holistic wellness. Sessions are from 50 minutes to 5 hours and treatment plans are specifically customized to each individual and family. Typical treatment duration lasts from a few sessions to several years.

My mission as a clinician, is to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and it is through your commitment and the therapeutic relationship that change can happen.

My clinical focus is on adults who need education and/or support to understand how emotional neglect, narcissistic abuse, and psychological/emotional abuse have affected their self-image, relationships, choices in partners and friends, and behavioral patterns. I work with clients who have experienced C-PTSD which develops in response to long-term trauma, abuse, and/or emotional neglect. I can also help those trying to figure out if they’re in a relationship with a narcissist or wanting to learn healthier boundaries to better manage their relationship, in any capacity, with loved ones demonstrating narcissistic traits.
