Do you find yourself in the midst of life changes? Transitions occur throughout life but at times everyone finds they may need additional support and guidance. My practice specializes in helping women find balance in their life and the strength to cope. Transition times in life often bring about stress, anxiety and depression. I am passionate about helping others develop healthy coping skills in order to address the multitude of emotions that are experienced. I utilize a variety of interventions including journal therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques and integrative therapies such as yoga and massage.
Changes can include graduation, job searches/retirement, marriage/divorce, infertility/pregnancy, chronic illness, grief and loss. I utilize a holistic approach for each individual & encourage care for the mind, body & spirit. Each session is individualized for the specific need of each client with the ultimate goal of everyone feeling they have the ability
With over 20 years experience as a hospice and palliative care grief counselor, I have the understanding of the significance of how physical issues correlate with emotional pain. When there is discord in one area, the other will certainly be impacted. Mental wellness can only occur when there is a balance in life.
