My work as a therapist is to help people live fulfilling lives in which they enjoy satisfying relationships, do their best work, and develop a deeper awareness and curiosity about their inner emotional experiences. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is essential to facilitating honest and open self-discovery. It serves as a lens through which relationship patterns and emotional experiences can be explored in a unique way. This approach to therapy generates long-term improvements for people suffering from depression, anxiety, grief, relationship problems, and the effects of trauma.
I am a Licensed Psychologist-Master providing psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative psychotherapy to adults and late adolescents. I offer clinical supervision and incident-to supervised billing for pre-licensed therapists and clinical supervision for graduate interns. I also welcome inquiries regarding clinical consultation and practice development.
I believe that lifelong learning is essential to being a skilled and helpful therapist. I am a current member and the past Treasurer/Newsletter Editor of the Vermont Association for Psychoanalytic Studies and a student member of the Vermont Psychoanalytic Study Group. I have served on the faculty of the Graduate Psychology Program at Saint Michael's College.
