I am a licensed professional counselor in private practice and a counselor intern supervisor. I have years of experience in marriage, family, and children's counseling. I am a former educator, and certified special education teacher. I have experience with the juvenile justice system,residential treatment, administration, court advocacy, foster/adopt parenting, licensed child care administration, Christian education, youth church ministry,Love and Logic Parenting, divorce mediation, certified anger management therapist and trainer. This combined experience allows me to address, through wisdom many issues of life that may arise.

My mission is to provide client centered services to all individuals. I am committed to providing clinical treatment practices that support clients with problems involving issues of mental distress, educational and occupational stressors, or conflicts within family relationships.

My philosophy as a Mental Health Professional involves the client centered approach to (1) foster increased independent thinking and stabilized mood, (2) progress towards healthier lifestyles (3) achievement of desired goals/ outcomes from therapy; including (a) improved interpersonal relationships, (b) development/ improvement of acceptable and appropriate social interaction, (c) improved self-image, self worth, and self perception, (d) positive interaction between the client, the therapist &others and (e) increased level of daily and global functioning.

We provide psychological evaluations and psychotherapy to serve clients who are ready to embark upon the journey of healing by assessing and processing unresolved issues and exploring unsettled emotions and behavior. Our goal is to help clients gain insight into symptoms that have affected their daily lives and relationships by supporting clients’ exploration into what underlies their issues. The question is not “What’s wrong with you” but rather “What happened to you, and how can you become a better version of yourself?"
