As a Certified Sex and Couples Therapist with over 25 years of experience, I’m dedicated to helping individuals and couples understand and experience their relationships with more confidence and joy. My office is in Falls Church, VA, and I'm licensed to see clients virtually in DC, MD, and VA. I address a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, dating, infidelity, divorce, sustaining desire & connection in long-term relationships, and healthy (and unhealthy) interpersonal dynamics. My expertise extends to couples work, including premarital counseling, navigating parenthood, repairing relationships post-affair, creating new monogamy agreements, and overcoming intimacy and sexual issues. My primary relationship training is as an IMAGO therapist, yet I incorporate a variety of relational therapeutic approaches.

As co-owner of Sunstone Counseling, I not only serve clients but also dedicate time to training fellow counseling professionals by providing clinical supervision for Residents in Counseling. I’m passionate about connecting clients to the right support, whether it be through my own services or by facilitating the perfect match at Sunstone Counseling.

Daring Greatly™ Women’s Weekend Intensive

You will explore topics such as vulnerability, self compassion, shame, and perfectionism. You will develop the belief that you are worthy of love, belonging, and joy; you are “enough”. This group will help you understand what might be driving old patterns that are keeping you “stuck". By the end of the weekend, you will have a deeper connection to self and others. Getting to Know Your Sexual Self-for women/virtual

The workshop is designed for woman to have a safe space to understand their sexual self. Grounded in the research by author and sex educator, Emily Nagoski, PhD this group will provide members an opportunity to learn the science of sex, identify what may be inhibiting your sexual desire, address issues related to arousal and orgasim, develop and adapt strategies to regain and enhance intimacy, restore connections, renew communication, increase eroticism and increase your sexual voice. 12 week group that begins on Fri, 1/10/24 (virtually) 11:30am-1pm.
