About
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked for several years in adoption and child welfare. This experience allows me to take an informed clinical approach to families and the challenges presented in our daily lives and within our communities. Additionally, this work has also given me an understanding of high stress work environments.
I take an integrated approach to therapy in order to create a safe place for individuals to grow and heal. I believe therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist that requires security and trust. In session, we will explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a confidential and supportive environment.
