Jeffrey, S. Kahn, Ph.D., CGP, DABPS, Managing Director of Summit Psychological Services, is a Licensed Psychologist (NJ# 2656) who has been practicing individual, couple and group psychotherapy for thirty years. Dr. Kahn is a Diplomate in Psychotherapy who works with a wide variety of psychological issues of adults and adolescents utilizing an integrative approach which draws on empathy and deep psychodynamic understanding as well as on strength-based and solution- focused approaches which have empirically demonstrated effectiveness.
With certifications in Applied Positive Psychology, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and the Treatment of Substance Use Disorders (including Nicotine Dependence), Dr. Kahn brings to bear a wide variety of techniques to help people increase happiness, life satisfaction and growth -- including the growth that flourishes with Recovery from substance abuse and dependence.
Drawing on many years of experience with 12-Step Recovery and Mindfulness and Acceptance based therapy, Dr. Kahn can facilitate Holistic growth in mind, body and spirit. Addiction Recovery Group
The group is jointly led by Jeffrey S. Kahn, Ph.D. and by Alison Johnson, Psy.D., both licensed psychologists who have specialized for many years in the field of addiction treatment and recovery. The members provide a support system for one another within the safety of a therapeutic group, sharing their experiences, strengths, and difficulties in a setting that optimizes personal growth. The group is open to any individual who is committed to abstinence and recovery.
