I help clients who are weighed down or stuck, to lighten the emotional load and move through life with inner peace and ease. My approach is to utilize CBT/DBT for building tools to experience some immediate relief and utilizing IFS "part" work to truly heal the root issues for long term mental health.
My specialty areas include: Depression, Anxiety, Mindfulness/Meditation, Relationships and Communication, Behavior Modification, Self Esteem/Worthiness, Geriatric mental health, and Substance Use/Chemical Dependency.
I am also fluent in American Sign Language.
My approach is customized after our initial meeting to fit what is best for you. I tend to utilize Internal Family Systems ("part" work), cognitive behavioral therapy, spiritual psychology, and mindfulness methods. I utilize clear and concise therapy exercises and homework to guide you through your journey to healing.
