I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with dual master’s degrees in Marriage & Family Therapy & Professional Counseling. I work with clients of all ages, with a special focus on trauma whether it’s a child facing current challenges or an adult healing from the past.
My style is warm, creative, and collaborative. I help children learn skills to manage stress, anxiety, and depression, and I guide parents in finding ways to connect with their teenagers through family therapy. I also enjoy working with adults who need someone to walk alongside them during life’s challenges and to celebrate their victories when they reach their goals.
I hold advanced training in the Gottman Method, EMDR (Levels 1 & 2, including EMDR for children and EMDR Sand Tray), Trauma-Focused CBT, Making Sense of Your Worth, and TraumaPlay. Part of my background includes nearly three years as the trauma therapist at a Children’s Advocacy Center, where I worked with children suffering from physical and sexual abuse.
