I work best with children, teens, and adults who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, trauma responses, emotional overwhelm, or behavior that is creating conflict at home, school, or in relationships. Many of my clients understand what they “should” do but struggle to apply it when emotions take over. Therapy with me is active, practical, and collaborative. We focus on understanding the root of the problem, increasing self-awareness, strengthening regulation and self-control, and building confidence through skills that can be used outside of the therapy room.
My work is grounded in CBT and EMDR, with DBT, ERP, and Play Therapy incorporated when helpful. I combine structured, evidence-based treatment with creativity, humor, and a direct but supportive style. Sessions focus on processing difficult experiences, changing unhelpful patterns, practicing concrete skills, and turning insight into action.
You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin with what feels most urgent and work from there at a pace that is both supportive and productive.
