As a person who has benefited from therapy myself, I understand that the first steps can sometimes be the most intimidating. I want you to know that I have been working with adolescents, young adults and families for over twenty years and I love it. Teens, emerging adults and their families are my people!
I mostly use a cognitive-behavioral approach while also borrowing from several other modalities in order to meet the specific and unique needs of each client. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders.
During the therapy process I assist clients in the discovery of their strengths, help them to build a support system, and develop a healthy lifestyle to set the foundation for life success. I also incorporates client’s spiritual beliefs into the treatment protocol in order to holistically address their needs.
