I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who works with adults 18 years and older struggling with their mental health, specifically focusing on depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma history, poor coping skills, eating disorders, and addiction. I have a background working in correctional, residential, and outpatient facilities. I completed my Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William James College with a concentration in Forensic and Correctional Counseling. I have been in the field for the past 5 years.
I take an eclectic approach when treating my clients, as I understand that everyone has their individualized struggles and goals. My style of therapy focuses on building rapport and trust, as I believe it is important to create a safe environment for clients to discuss their struggles without fear of judgment.
I focus on helping clients change their thinking to view life struggles from a different perspective and identify healthy strategies to overcome their barriers.
