They may be facing some anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, addictions, and/or trauma symptoms and trying to heal from the inside out. I also work with adults, families, and couples.

In today's ever changing world, teens and young adults face incredible difficulties and stressors. My passion is working with teens and young adults who face difficulties in navigating aspects of their lives. I have worked within the public school system for 10 years with high school students experiencing school anxiety, school avoidance, trauma and abuse, PTSD, crisis situations, suicidal ideation, and anxiety. My goal is to help others understand the root of what they are experiencing and to help them understand how to build resiliency within themselves.

As a therapist, I find profound beauty in witnessing people's resilience—seeing them navigate through even the darkest times. ​Psychologist Robert Johnson's words capture my philosophy: "It's not too difficult to get the skeletons out of the closet with people, but to get the gold out is a different matter. I have an avid interest in helping children, adults, and families dealing with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, mental and/or physical challenges, and Academically Gifted and Talented. I also specialize in supporting clients and families coping with chronic and/or serious illnesses. Siblings, who are often overlooked in these families, are of special concern to me. Depression, anxiety and grief and loss issues due to death, divorce and other life changes hold a special interest for me as well.
