About
Accepting New Clients in person and online. I feel that every client presents a unique and fascinating story that needs to be heard to bring the unconscious conscious and resolve pain. I am a good fit for clients who tend to intellectualize their problems, potentially overthinking but under-feeling. I aim to help dismantle unhealthy patterns. My clients describe me as easy to talk to but direct. I like to assign homework or worksheets at the end of each session so that progress continues between sessions. LBGTQIA affirming. I particularly like working with couples and those with OCD/anxiety.
I take a solutions-based approach to many of my sessions so that change can occur fairly quickly. In addition, I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). As a former therapist at the VA, I'm also trained in trauma. Above all else, I see our ability to connect as essential to therapeutic improvement.
If you think we would be a good fit, you can call me or send me a message. I look forward to meeting you.
