Let me describe how I work and you can see if you feel we might be a good team. I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 1996, and have worked with children, families and adults.
The primary way I attempt to help is through an understanding of attachment theory. I work with my clients to identify and understand patterns of relating that may be interfering with their ability to feel their lives are satisfying and successful.
I am certified in infant/toddler mental health, as well as Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I am trained in hypnosis and EMDR, and have utilized these techniques to help others get relief from issues of depression, trauma and conflict.
