My ideal client is a young adult or adult who wants help in improving their lives. I treat clients that want more in their lives, want to work on self-improvement, motivation to meet goals and flourish in their lives. I can also help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and an unhappiness with the direction of their lives. I believe that the relationship between the therapist and the client is very important, and I feel I listen well and help the client where they are at and move forward in the right direction.
I have over 30 years of experience working in behavioral health field. I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2002. I have an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate since 2011. I have advanced training in DBT and CBT.
My unique talents include creating a safe and caring space to allow healing and improvement in each person's life I counsel. I feel I provide goal directed and strength based counseling with a CBT emphasis. I have experience in mental health and drug and alcohol issues.

Groups
Adult DBT Group (virtual)
DBT Adult therapy group meets Tuesdays from 6-7:15p. It is held virtually to start and will look at meeting one time a month in person. It is a max of 12 clients who need to work on emotional regulation and want to learn specific skills to improve their lives. $60 a group. Take insurance or out of pocket.
