I provide counseling for anxiety, depression, relational problems, and adolescent adjustment difficulties. I also provide services to professionals who are facing challenges with their career journey (e.g., vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, professional transitions, etc.)

I have experience in helping clients (teens, adults, families) with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, substance use & depression. I began my counseling profession after hitting bottom in 2001. Coming to terms with my past, littered by multiple addictions and trauma, was not easy. But throughout my own journey of healing, God opened doors I never thought possible. Serving 26 years in the military, I advocated for recovery prior to joining the private sector. I understand the complex intersection of culture, faith, and sexuality. Because of my own journey into healing, I have deep compassion for people in the grips of addiction.

It's hard for most people to ask for help. I get that. But I am of the belief that there are two categories of people: those who could be helped by therapy and those who actually go out and try it. So, if you are stepping out, asking for help, and giving therapy a try - good for you for taking a risk. My goal right off the bat is to build trust with my clients. Regardless of the issue at hand, I believe the most important and powerful tool is to have a trusted relationship in your corner.
