Specifically, those who have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Most of my background features individual therapy. My motive is to encourage, motivate and support those who are seeking change and personal growth.

My ideal client is someone who is open to the therapy experience and is ready to challenge themselves to actively work toward feeling better. Someone who recognizes that while changes in behavior, mood, thinking, relationships, employment, parenting, lifestyle etc. may test our ability to cope, as they can be difficult and painful, how we respond to these changes/challenges ultimately determines the outcome. I am a psychotherapist licensed in North Carolina and Virginia. In my career I have worked mainly in an in-office outpatient setting but recently I had a traveling position providing psychotherapy services to seniors in assisted living and nursing facilities along the east coast of NC. I have also had the opportunity to work in a school-based setting as well as in a juvenile residential treatment facility.
