My areas of specialty are anxiety & depression, trauma, alcohol/substance use, dual-diagnosis, and addressing the issues that result from these problems such as interpersonal and relationship issues, self esteem issues, and overall poor coping skills. I have over 30 years experience in the mental health field. I have extensive knowledge and experience working with people suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, OCD, trauma, PTSD, domestic violence, complicated grief and relationship issues. For 17 years I have worked in a day treatment program where I provided individual, group and family counseling targeting clients suffering with range of issues from ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorders, physical/sexual abuse and substance abuse. Mrs. Theresa Sloan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in South Carolina. She received her Master of Education degree in Counseling from the University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. Mrs. Sloan has also earned Board Certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). She is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the SC Association of Licensed Professional Counselors.

Dr. Robert E. McCarthy is an internationally-known authority in integrative medicine and a Licensed and Multi-Board Certified Professional Counselor and Supervisor providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of psychiatric, medical, neurological and developmental disorders. He specializes in state-of-the-art QEEG, biofeedback, neurofeedback, hemoencephalography and transcranial photobiomodulation, and is a contributing author to the landmark book Neurofeedback: The First Fifty Years and wrote Setting up A State-f-the-Art Integrative Medicine Practice sold by BFE worldwide.

I became a social worker for two reasons; I have a natural propensity to talk with people therapeutically and I enjoy helping people. Traditionally, social workers help people to get where they want to go in their lives and assist them in becoming more resourceful in dealing with stresses in their life. Hello, I am Jim Bennett ,Counselor. I have compassionately worked with families, couples, individuals, teens and groups for over 29 years. I have worked with these clients in a private practice setting and in an addictions treatment center setting. I have accomplished Masters Degrees in both Counseling and Clinical Psychology. I studied both disciplines to equip myself for assessment as well as treatment . I became a counselor to help teens navigate their way into adulthood. I quickly found that the family is where it all starts. Therefore, I focused on family/marriage counseling. From there I branched into addiction counseling.
