Hi there, I'm Jehlisah, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania. I empower individuals to overcome some of life's biggest stressors while also finding ways to manage stress, cope with life changes, anxiety and depression. I strive to meet you exactly where you are and feel that every single person I work with requires different types of treatment for your specific concerns. Because of this approach, I take time to get to know you, your history and your current stressors so that we can work collaboratively to identify goals and work towards them.

That may be due to turbulent relationships, use of substances or a loved one struggling with substance use, bouts of depression or anxiety that impacts quality of life, a loved one passing away or our own thinking patterns that influence our behaviors. My role in working with you is assisting you with moving forward, finding solutions or courses of action, and building your toolbox so that you can cope more productively.

I am passionate about helping those who suffer with mental health and dual disorders. My approach is empathetic and compassion first, with the goal of helping my clients overcome the obstacles in their lives that are inhibiting them from achieving fulfillment in life. No two clients are alike, therefore I treat each person's needs as I partner with them to heal the body, mind and spirit. My method is eclectic whether I am seeing you individually or in group , I believe everyone is capable of healing; as a therapist, it is my job to help guide each person on their own, personal journey toward healing and growth.

My career has been spent in treating persons experiencing eating and substance use disorders, PTSD, depression, anxiety, Career Difficulties, Agoraphobia, Anger Management, Divorce, OCD, Panic Attacks, Self Esteem, Social Anxiety, Grief, Social Anxiety, along with any other condition that has these ingredients present.

Ms. Welty received her MS degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. With over 15 years in the field, she specializes in trauma therapy, substance use disorders, eating disorders, co-occurring disorders, domestic violence, PTSD, anxiety, and mood disorders. Ms. Welty works with adults (18+), couples, families, and groups. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, Ms. Welty is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She uses CBT, REBT, 12-Step, solution-focused, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapeutic modalities.

I believe in a strengths-based approach to treatment, which means I start by working to understand who my client is, what their concerns/goals are, and how they can best be approached. This allows me to collaborate with my clients to develop effective coping skills for substance use, anxiety, depression, adjustment to aging, grief, relationship stress and boundary setting, or reactions to trauma. I also have experience with queer populations (LGBTQ+). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania with 10 years of professional experience in nonprofit and an additional 4 years in therapy practice.
