Currently accepting new patients - Amidst covid 19 pandemic. My goal as a therapist is to help lead others to healing and self discovery. Drawing from 12+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse field, I currently specialize in clients who struggle with various mental health issues as well as addictions. I am strong with expressive arts, faith based practice, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I facilitate addictions groups for teens and adults around topics of marijuana, opiates, and those who struggle with addicted loved ones, among other topics.
In addition to having my LMHC and LADC I also have an advanced certification in Addictions know as a CADC II. I have an extensive background working with clients who receive medication assisted treatments or MAT's as it pertains to substance use disorders. I am also skilled in working with clients who struggle with dual diagnosis issues as well.
I also assist in networking with local psychiatric and MAT prescribers for clients who require psychiatric and/or chemical dependency treatments. In this practice we also attempt to therapeutically integrate expressive arts with music and faith based practice with those who feel comfortable with these types of interventions.
